Discover practical ways AI document processing can enhance your marketing campaigns. Learn what’s possible and see a real-world example of AI in action.
However, AI document processing can add a new level of sophistication by automating data extraction and verification from customer documents (the input).
The result? Enhanced customer engagement, faster processing times, and seamless integration of verified data into your campaigns (the output).
So, what can be achieved?
Here are some types of documents that can be scanned:
Expense Tracking: Easily log expenses submitted by customers for loyalty rewards.
Age Verification: Confirm customer eligibility for age-restricted offers.
Supplier Management: Keep tabs on purchase orders and track performance.
Inventory Management: Track product availability through barcode scanning.
Invoice Processing: Simplify billing and payment tracking for customers.
Customer Enrollment: Capture details for loyalty programs or event registrations.
A Real-World Example: AI-Powered Raffle Campaign
Our colleague Petru has recently developed a solution to automate a raffle campaign for a customer using the following AI document processing method:
Objective: Customers who purchase eligible products can join a raffle and win weekly prizes.
Workflow:
A customer goes shopping and buys groceries, including at least one item eligible for a prize campaign.
To participate, they take a photo of their receipt and submit it through an online form (this demo is using Airtable, but other platforms, such as WooCommerce, work as well).
The receipt is processed using Klippa, which extracts details of items that qualify for the promotion.
A unique hash string is then generated based on the receipt's header fields.
The system checks:some text
Confirms if the receipt contains at least one eligible product.
Ensures the hash is unique, verifying that it hasn’t been submitted before.
On a weekly basis or on-demand, winners are drawn from the database to complete the prize campaign.
*Note: The hash string is created using the receipt’s header information, meaning that submitting the same receipt multiple times will produce the same hash.
